A short time back, I posted a video showing the beta version of ClayFighter 63⅓, which definitely should've been the final version. So if we're not getting the new game that was announced back in 2015 (no thanks to Herve Caen's bad management skills), we should get a re-release of 63 1/3.
- The game will be called ClayFighter Extreme (same title as the PSX version).
- All the characters from Sculptor's Cut, and Hobo Cop as well. And maybe even Tiny and Octo could return.
- Some of the new soundclips and moves from Sculptor's Cut.
- All the stuff from the beta version of 63 1/3.
- Tournament mode and online play.
- Training mode.
- In-game moves list for characters (much like Mortal Kombat).
- The return of the Killer Instinct-like combo system.

ClayFighter's development actually has gone in deeper than you think. Here's something I discovered today:
ClayFighter 2 for the 3DO.
Not much information exists about this upgrade of Judgement Clay aside from this print ad for the 3DO. The game was quietly cancelled because of who-knows-what.
On the topic of unreleased and prototype ClayFighter games, there's still information about the supposed Sega 32X version of Judgement Clay and the original version of 63 1/3 when it was called ClayFighter III and was planned for the M2 console.
This is a foreign video promoting 63 1/3 for the N64. But it doesn't look like the N64 version. Notice the stages. The stages are 2D as opposed to being 3D-rendered. This could indicate that this is the M2 versio…

I just came across some beta footage for ClayFighter 63 1/3. Take a look:
(Footage starts at 15:40)
What I noticed different from the final game:
- Intro is slightly different.
- Lifebars are different. They seem to be unfinished, as they only show Blob and Frosty.
- Character select menu is different. The final characters are there except Jim and Santa, and Hobo Cop and Lady Liberty are there.
- Camera moves differently.
- Bad Mr. Frosty has two moves not in the final version. An Ice Breath-like move and a launcher with his "little buddy".
- Blob has a red alternate palette and a different at mercy animation.
- Bonker has his green palette not in the final game, and some different animations. He also appears to have a move involving his cannon.
- T-Hoppy has a gre…

Most recently, it's been leaked that the unnamed ClayFighter game released for this year has been cut due to the president of Interplay (Herve) not willing to even participate in the project!
From the looks of things, ClayFighter isn't doing very well, and it looks like the series may forever be dead...
or is it?
You see ladies and gentlemen, I have decided to take legal action to purchase the franchise and continue the project so that not only would we have a series, but also something to remember ClayFighter by!

I... I'm actually kind of shocked at this.
Here's the link:x
So, this is a huge leak, not of gameplay of any specific game, but about what's going on at Interplay by an ex-staff employee.
I think it's best if you just read it. It's actually kind of sad to read this.
Bottom line is, Herve is what's caused the Call of Putty cancellation and why the new Clayfighter may be cancelled too.
Should we do a wiki page on this? I've found an archive, too.Read more >

(Voiced by Tress macNeille): Lady liberty was created from one of Dr. Kiln's most prized possession, a piece of the statue of liberty from Earth and the very first man-made warrior that didn't either melt away or implode causing the equipment to jam up. Unfortunately for Dr. Kiln, being made from the DNA of the statue of freedom had given Libby the ability to tell right from wrong and refused to do be part of his army which ended with Kiln locking her away and get her to conform to his rules. During that time, Hoppy from the Clayfighters had turned up on the island were Kiln's hideout was located but ended up outnumbered by Kiln's mean minions who dragged his battered self to the Doc were he was to be converted to the mechanical mutant T-H…Read more >

Houngan's past is a complete mystery though rumor has it that he is the last living member of an ancient tribe that was wiped out a long time ago (most likely by a rival tribe) and that his eccentric but cruel behaviour comes from all those years of isolation and having his beloved rubber chicken familiar "Cluck-Daddy" his only true companion. It was the claywide wrestling federation, and the crowd was fired up. They had every reason to be, because a wrestler loved by the entire CWF was about to wrestle a match. The pyrotechnics went off, and the crowd went insane as a voice called out:
"Are there any airholes in the building?"
This question was answered by thundering shrieks and squeals by the crowd. Unfazed by the myriad of support from his numerous fans, he declares:
"Well, no matter how many airholes there are, I'm the HEAD airhole around here!"
He surveys his people, all of them howling with excitement (except for one who seems to have fainted). He feels he was a lot more beloved here than in the clayfighter circuit.
Back in the king of the circus tournament, Tiny dominated all …Read more >

Since many of the said gangs would gather round to beat the living clay out of each other for status or prizes in their fighting tournaments, Kiln's plan involved starting another one but this time the winner gets the title for Grandmaster of Mudville (Judgement Clay).
